Erling Holland congratulated the Argentine star after winning Lionel Messi’s eighth Ballon d’Or. Holland sent a congratulatory message to Messi despite missing out on the Ballon d’Or in the competition with the Argentine superstar.
The Norwegian striker shared Messi’s Instagram post with the Ballon d’Or in his story and wrote in Latin: “Congratulations”
Despite scoring 52 goals in all competitions and winning the treble with Manchester City, Holland finished second in the France Football Ballon d’Or after 36-year-old Messi.
After receiving this award for the eighth time in his career, Messi had an interesting praise of Holland and declared that the Norwegian star could be one of the main chances to win this title in the coming years.
