Jackie Shroff, Karan Kundrra join Goa’s CM in Panjim to launch beach cleaning campaign

Actors Jackie Shroff and Karan Kundrra also marked their presence at the event and joined Sawant in launching the ‘CleanAThon’ initiative, a cleanliness drive being held at Miramar Beach – one of the most frequented beaches of Goa.Speaking to news agency ANI, Sawant said, “The message is to keep the beach clean.

We always work to keep the coasts of Goa clean, and we will keep it clean in the future too.” Shroff urged people to not litter around. He said, “I don’t have to come from anywhere to say keep your beaches clean. Don’t litter around.”

Kundrra was happy about the footfall on the drive. “Glad that a lot of people have turned up. We come to Goa, shoot, and take away the best memories. This is the reality of maintaining that beauty, we are doing everything.”

A video on social media showed a huge crowd surrounding the actors at the beach. Another captured a volunteer of the Bhimla foundation addressing the crowd as the actors shared the deck at the event.

According to reports, the event was organized by the state government in collaboration with the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Divyaj Foundation, and Bhamla Foundation.
