Benedict Cumberbatch’s mother thought he wasn’t ‘attractive enough’ for Sherlock – Casey Weekly


Benedict Cumberbatch turned 46 on Tuesday. Benedict playing Sherlock Holmes in the TV series Sherlock in 2010. However, do you know, Benedict’s mom, entertainer Wanda Ventham  he sacked the job since she thought Benedict to play .

Benedict a few honors, including a British Academy Television Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Laurence Olivier for two Academy Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, and four.

A couple of years back, Benedict’s Sherlock co-maker Steven Moffat Benedict’s mom, Wanda Ventham, didn’t know he was up for the job. He told Times Out in a meeting, “Benedict’s mum didn’t think he attractive to play Sherlock. No one did. He never considered himself gorgeous with him that he’s turned into this sex image.”

Aside from assuming the part of Sherlock Holmes, he plays filled the role of Dr Stephen Strange in a few movies set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Doctor Strange (2016) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). He up in grant winning movies like Amazing Grace (2006), 12 Years a Slave (2013), The Imitation Game (2014), 1917 (2019), The Courier (2020), The Power of the Dog (2021).

Benedict will be seen next in The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. The entertainer will play lead in the film, which entertainers Ralph Fiennes, Dev Patel, Ben Kingsley, Rupert Friend, and Richard Ayoade. The shooting of The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar started recently in London. The film is booked to deliver on Netflix.
