Renault India has once again increased the prices of its cars in the Indian market. With the latest price hike, Renault joins the list of car makers who have hiked the prices of their cars since June. The company has increased the prices of its vehicles for the third time in the last six months.

Renault has increased prices across all its models starting from Kwid, Kiger and Triber. Depending on the model and variants, the price of the vehicles has been increased by up to Rs 17,500. There has been a similar price hike across all the variants of Kagar hatchback and Triber MPV.

Renault Kwid

One of the popular hatchbacks in the market. The Renault Kwid has also got a price hike of Rs 12,500 across all its variants. As per the new price list, the Kwid hatchback will now be available at a starting price of Rs 4.62 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base RXL 800cc model. The price of the top-spec Kwid Climber Easy-R variant has increased by up to Rs 5.96 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault Kiger

According to the new price list shared by the French carmaker on its official website, Renault’s latest and flagship offering has seen the biggest increase in the price of the Kyger sub-compact SUV. The Renault Kiger has become expensive by up to Rs 17,500 depending on the variants.

The hike in the prices of Kiger comes in line with the hike in the price of the Magnite SUV by its rival Nissan. Prices of the Magnite SUV now start at Rs.6 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base RXE 1.0-litre Energy variant with manual transmission. The top-spec RXZ X-Tronic (CVT) 1.0-litre Turbo Dual Tone variant will now come with an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.57 lakh.

Renault Triber

The Renault Triber, one of the safest MPVs on Indian roads, has received a price hike of Rs 12,400 across all variants, according to the Global NCAP crash test. The price of the seven-seat three-row MPV now starts at Rs 5.88 lakh for the base RXE variant. The price of the top-of-the-range RXZ Easy-R Dualtone variant goes up to Rs. 8.44 lakhs.
