After releasing the teaser images recently, Hyundai Motor India has now released the official images of the much-awaited facelift version of the Venue sub-compact SUV. The updated 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is scheduled to be launched in the country on 16 June. The automaker has announced to open bookings for the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift from Friday. However, unofficial bookings for the new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift have already started at select dealerships. The sub-compact SUV will come with a few cosmetic changes and feature upgrades, while the engine-gearbox will remain intact.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue comes with several segment-first features along with significant design changes and interior upgrades. Interior and engine details are yet to officially revealed. New Venue customers can now control multiple car functions via Home to Car (H2C) with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. More than 60 BlueLink connected features are also available in the new model. The company has also confirmed that the new Venue will come with a segment-first 2-step rear reclining seat.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue comes with the brand new Sensuous Sportiness Design Philosophy. This can be seen in many Hyundai cars that are sold in the international markets. The SUV comes with an all-new front fascia, a redesigned grille inspired by the new Tushaw and the Palisade SUV. The grille gets dark chrome while the lower bumper gets an attractive faux skid plate for a sporty look.

The SUV retains the split headlamp setup. However, the upper lighting elements have updated. The turn indicators in the upper lighting elements look like extensions of the grille. The side profile looks pretty much the same as the current model. However, now it gets new alloy wheels and wheel caps.

Coming to the rear profile of the car, the new Venue comes with a completely redesigned tailgate. It gets new tail-lamps, which are now connect via an LED light bar. The SUV gets a new bumper which gets a bit of black treatment along with brake lighting at both the corners. The lower bumper houses a large faux silver skid plate.

N-line variant.

Hyundai is also testing the N-Line variant of the Venue. The company can launch it at a later stage. The N-Line variant will get differently designed front and rear bumpers, alloy wheels and will get a unique interior with red stitching aluminum pedals and N-Line badging.

Engine.

The company has not released the interior pictures of the Venue facelift. It is likely to get new upholstery for the seats, more features and an updated infotainment system. The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will continue to offered with the existing engine line-up which includes 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel.

Competition.

In the sub-compact SUV segment in the Indian market, the new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will compete with the upcoming facelift version of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza apart from Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
