Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala shot dead. There was firing near Jawaharke village of Musa Wala Parmansa. After this he was admitted to the hospital where he died during treatment. Let us inform that a day earlier, the Punjab government had withdrawn the security of 424 VIPs, including Moose Wala.

Moose Wala was a resident of Moose Wala village in Mansa district.

Punjab singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on Sunday. There was firing near Jawaharke village of Musa Wala Parmansa. After the incident, Moose Wala was admitted to a hospital in Mansa in a critical condition where he succumb to his injuries during treatment. Two other people who stayed with Moose Wala in the incident are said to injured. It is being told that the attackers came in a black car.

It is being told that Moose Wala had received threats from gangsters.

Despite this, the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab had withdrawn the security of 424 VIPs, including Moose Wala, a day earlier, citing law and order. Moose Wala also contested the Punjab Assembly elections on a Congress ticket against Aam Aadmi Party’s Vijay Singla. Vijay Singla defeated Moose Wala from Mansa seat by 63,323 votes.

Civil surgeon gave this information

Dr Ranjit Rai, Civil Surgeon of Mansa Hospital said that three people were brought to the hospital, out of which Sidhu Moose Wala died. After first aid, both the injured have been referred to a higher institution for further treatment.

Who was Sidhu Moose Wala

Born on 17 June 1993, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu alias Sidhu Moose Wala was a resident of Musa Wala village in Mansa district. Moose wala has a fan following in lakhs and was popular for his gangster rap. Sidhu Moose Wala mother was the sarpanch of the village. He had a degree in Electrical Engineering. He learned music during his college days and later moved to Canada.

Moose Wala is also known to be one of the most controversial Punjabi singers.

Those who openly promoted gun culture, glorifying gangsters in provocative songs. His song ‘Jatti Jionne Mod Di Guntak Vargi’, which was release in September 2019, sparked a controversy with reference to the 18th century Sikh warrior Mai Bhago. He was accuse of tarnishing the image of this Sikh warrior. However, later Moose Wala had apologised.

Another song ‘Sanju’ from Moose Wala also created controversy in July 2020. The song was release after Sidhu Moose Wala got bail in the AK-47 firing case. He compared himself to actor Sanjay Dutt in the song released on social media. In May 2020, a case was register against Sidhu Moose Wala under the Arms Act after a video clip of him firing in Barnala village went viral. However, later a court in Sangrur granted him bail.
