Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, slaps the man accused of burning his wife. Twitterati are in Anger

The husband of a woman who was burned under strange circumstances was apprehended at Safdarjung Hospital in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, by Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal.

He had the Delhi Police carry out this step after speaking with the victim woman. Swati became so enraged during this that she slapped the victim’s husband.

Approximately 90% of the burn victims have been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital for treatment.

The victim woman told Swati Maliwal that her husband burned her four days ago by pouring petrol on her. Her husband, on the other hand, desired to remarry. The Uttar Pradesh Police have filed a FIR in this instance, however the suspects have yet to be apprehended.

On Sunday, Swati Maliwal visited the hospital and spoke with the victim. He learned that the woman’s husband is in the hospital and is pressuring his wife not to make a statement during this time.

After speaking with the victim’s wife, Swati Maliwal followed the police to the hospital, where the victim’s husband was present. She was furious about the occurrence at the time, and she hit the victim woman’s husband.

They apprehended him and handed him over to the Delhi Police Department. He requested that the Delhi Police transfer him to the Uttar Pradesh Police.
