At the same time, the death of 33 patients has been reported. The death rate from corona is 1.22 percent. The number of active cases of Corona has reached 15,647. The number of people who have been infected with the corona virus in the country so far has increased to 4,31,27,199. Along with this, 2549 people infected with corona virus have also been cured in the last 24 hours. Earlier on Tuesday, daily 1,569 new Covid cases were registered. On Tuesday, the active cases of corona were 16,400.

1829 new cases of coronavirus, 33 deaths.

This is the second consecutive day in the country after the last 4 weeks when less than 2 thousand daily cases of corona have been registered. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday, after the death of 33 more patients in the last 24 hours, this number has reached 5,24,293. With this, a total of 4 crore 24 lakh 87 thousand 259 people have been cured of the infection so far.

Vaccination campaign against Corona continues.

Continuous vaccination campaign is also going on in the country to completely beat Corona. So far, a total of 1 billion 91 crore 65 lakh 770 vaccines have been dosed. A decrease of 753 cases has been registered in the active COVID-19 caseload in a period of 24 hours. The ministry said that active cases comprise 0.04 percent of the total infection. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 84,49,26,602 samples have been tested for COVID-19 till May 17. Of these, 4,34,962 samples were tested on Tuesday.
