According to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, there are no differences among people regardless of their name, skill, or honor.

He was giving a speech at a gathering in the Ravindra Natya Mandir auditorium on the occasion of Saint Shiromani Rohidas’ 647th birthday.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Bhagwat said: “God is the verity. There are no differences among people regardless of name, skill, or honor. Based on Shaastras, some Pandits make false claims.”

“We are misled by the caste superiority illusion and this illusion has to set aside,” he added.

Mohan Bhagwat said that conscience and consciousness are all the same in the country, and only the opinions are different.

The RSS chief said Saint Rohidas has a stature greater than Tulsidas, Kabir and Surdas, why he is considered Saint Shiromani.

“Although he couldn’t win over the Brahmins in Shastrath, he was able to touch many hearts and made them believe in God,” he said.

He invoked Saint Rohidas to say that religion is not just about filling up one’s stomach.

“Do your job and follow your religion while doing it. Religion should work to bring people together and advance society. Many well-known people turned to Saint Rohidas as a mentor because of such ideas and lofty ideals “the RSS leader stated.

The four mantras Saint Rohidas gave to society are truth, compassion, inner purity, and constant effort and hard work, according to Mr. Bhagwat.

“Pay attention to what is going on around you, but never, ever abandon your religion. The religious messages themselves the same, despite the variations in how they conveyed. One should practice their religion with respect for all other religions, “Added he.
