Varisu box office day 7 collection: Vijay starrer grosses ₹210 crore worldwide

Varisu box office day 7 collection: Vijay’s most recent release has grossed 210 crore worldwide. It is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and stars Rashmika Mandanna.

Varisu, the latest film from actor Vijay, has dominated the box office since its release. Vamshi Paidipally’s film grossed 210 crore in its first week of release worldwide. On Wednesday, the filmmakers took to Twitter to reveal a poster confirming that they are in the film business. According to trade sources, this is Vijay’s sixth consecutive 200 crore film.

Varisu, which stars Vijay, is a family drama about the youngest son taking over his father’s business empire while dealing with stiff opposition from his two elder brothers. It stars Rashmika Mandanna, R. Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and others.

The Vamshi Paidipally-directed film also marked Vijay’s Telugu debut, as it was released in the language alongside its Tamil counterpart. Mersal, Sarkar, Bigil, Master and Beast are Vijay’s other 200 crore grossing films, in addition to Varisu.

Varisu was released in tandem with Ajith’s Thunivu. Last Wednesday, both films released on an equal number of screens in Tamil Nadu. Fans stayed up all night to celebrate the release of both films, with shows starting as early as 1 a.m.

Meanwhile, Varisu director Vamshi Paidipally on Tuesday created an uproar on social media with his reaction to criticism of his film. It happened when some people said that Varisu has a heavy ‘TV serial hangover’. Responding to the criticism, Vamshi requested people who criticise to know and understand the hard work that goes into making films. His response received with stiff opposition by many people on social media as well.

“You know how difficult it is to make a film these days? Do you realise how hard a team works to make a film work? You know how much effort people put in to entertain audiences? It’s not a joke, brother. “Every filmmaker makes so many sacrifices,” Vamshi told Cinema Vikatan.

He also mentioned how hard actor Vijay works to perfect his dance moves and dialogue. In response to the Varisu comment, Vamshi stated that people should not degrade TV serials because they keep so many people entertained at home. Several people outraged by Vamshi’s remark. In some people’s opinion, he was even rude.
