Ukraine crash: After a helicopter crashed beside a kindergarten in an eastern suburb of Kyiv, eighteen people were killed, including Ukraine‘s interior minister.
Three children killed, and 15 others treated in hospitals.
Denys Monastyrsky, the minister, was in the helicopter with eight others.
Officials said his first deputy minister and state secretary also killed when the helicopter crashed in the Brovary suburb.
The helicopter belonged to Ukraine’s state emergency service, according to national police chief Ihor Klymenko, who posted on Facebook.

Oleksiy Kuleba, the head of Kyiv’s regional military administration, said the tragedy in Brovary had injured 29 people and killed 18.
Following the crash, a fire broke out near the kindergarten, and the children and staff evacuated. The wreckage of the helicopter could be seen outside a burning building.
It was dark and foggy at the time of the crash, and preliminary reports indicate that the helicopter struck a kindergarten before crashing near a residential building.
Along with Mr. Monastyrsky, two other senior interior ministry officials assassinated. Yevgeny Yenin served as the first deputy minister in the Ukraine crash.
