Bholaa: Tabu is the boss of her cop universe. Tabu will seen as a cop in Bholaa, which stars her long-time collaborator actor Ajay Devgn, after appearing as a cop in the Drishyam franchise and her recent release Kuttey. Bholaa, the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Kaithi, is Ajay and Tabu’s ninth film.

Tabu took to Instagram to share a 30-second video of her first look at the film. Devgn directs Bholaa, who has previously directed U, Me, aur Hum (2008), Shivaay (2016), and last year’s Runway 34.

“Ek khakee,” he says. “Aaj raat ya toh woh hume dhund lega, ya hum ussey,” she captioned the video, which begins with her saying, “Aaj raat ya toh woh hume dhund lega, ya hum ussey.” (Tonight, either we will find him or he will find us), as the pulsing background music begins to play. Ajay Devgn also shared the first-look poster.

Ajay and Tabu have previously appeared in films such as Vijaypath, Vijaypath (1994), Haqeeqat (1995), Thakshak (1999), Drishyam (2015), Golmaal Again (2017), De De Pyaar De (2019), and Drishyam 2.

The original Tamil film, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, was about an ex-convict (played by Karthi) who decides to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison but gets caught up in a shootout between police and the drug mafia.

Bholaa set to released on March 30th by Ajay Devgn Films, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment, and Dream Warrior Pictures. Bholaa will be Tabu’s second release of the year, following Kuttey, which is currently in theatres. Kuttey directed by Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan Bhardwaj and stars Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sensharma, Radhika Madan, and Kumud Mishra.
