Bharat Jodo Yatra is set to enter J&K, and the Congress holds a high-level meeting to discuss Rahul Gandhi’s security.


The Congress Party convened a high-level meeting of security agencies to discuss Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is set to enter Jammu and Kashmir.

According to sources, security agencies reviewed Rahul Gandhi’s security arrangements for the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which begins on January 19 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Special security arrangements have  made on the routes that Rahul Gandhi will cover during his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir.

During the Yatra, the Congress MP will protected by the Kashmir Police and the CRPF.

Only known people should included in Rahul Gandhi’s inner circle, according to security agencies. In addition, the Congress MP has  advised not to travel on foot in certain areas of Kashmir.

According to the sources, the security agencies have advised the party to drive instead of walking at some places in the valley.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra will begin on January 19 in Lakhanpur, Jammu, will travel to Kashmir Valley via Kathua, Hiranagar, and the Banihal tunnel.

Rahul Gandhi has assigned Z Plus security with Advance Security Liaison, according to CRPF sources (ASL).

The sources further added that the Congress MP will be under the protection of 58 commandos.

Rahul Gandhi has given full security based on the Yellow Book security standards.
