Shah Rukh Khan to Ram Charan: ‘When RRR brings Oscar to India, please let me touch it’


After the release of the trailer for Shah Rukh Khan upcoming film ‘Pathaan,’ Ram Charan expressed his support for him.

“Wishing the whole team of #Pathaan all the very best! Shah Rukh. Sir looking forward to seeing you in action sequences like never before!” one of the lead actors of RRR, Ram Charan, tweeted. In response, Shah Rukh Khan thanked him for the support and wished that team RRR brings an Oscar to India.

“Thank you so much my mega power star Ram Charan. When your RRR team brings Oscar to India, please let me touch it! Love you,” the Pathaan actor wrote.


On Wednesday, Ram Charan and his RRR co-star NTR Junior, as well as director SS Rajamouli, were caught on camera jumping out of their seats and clapping enthusiastically as “Naatu Naatu” was named Best Song at the Golden Globes 2023.

Later, the actor shared a celebratory Instagram post.

Before the award ceremony, Ram Charan took selfies with thousands of fans, and the photos and videos have gone viral on social media.

SS Rajamouli’s RRR received two nominations. With ‘Naatu Naatu,’ the film won Best Original Song.

On January 11, the 80th Golden Globe Awards  held in Los Angeles (IST). At the ceremony, RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ won Best Original Song. The trophy accepted by music director MM Keeravani.

The Fabelmans won Best Motion Picture – Drama and The Banshees of Inisherin won Best Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy. Austin Butler (Elvis) and Cate Blanchett (Tar) won Best Actor and Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama. Colin Farrell (The Banshees of Inisherin) and Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) won Best Actor and Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy/Musical.
