Mister Fantastic Should Make MCU Debut In Deleted Scene Years Ago  – Casey Weekly


 Doctor Strange from Multiverse of Madness was the best fan service. The film not only brought back some popular faces in well-known Marvel roles, but it also introduced  actors for roles fans were asking for, one of them being Mr. His Fantastic. The lead was John Krasinski, who made his MCU debut with a cameo appearance by Richards. However, the film’s scriptwriters have revealed that the character was slated to appear in a Marvel movie years ago. 

 Mister Fantastic was played by two actors, Ioan Gruffudd and Miles Teller, before John Krasinski’s arrival in the MCU. In a recent interview, screenwriter Michael Waldron, who wrote both Doctor Strange films, said he originally planned to introduce the character in the first one in 2016. and wrote a post-credits scene for Doctor Strange introducing his headquarters, Baxterville. A stretchy hand entered the frame to write the tag and play it back.

The Fantastic Four characters were owned by Fox, not Marvel, so they weren’t included in the MCU. . That  probably prevented the character from appearing in the first Doctor Strange. The studio is developing a Fantastic Four movie, but no casting details  have been announced. It’s unclear if John will reprise his role there or if a new actor will be cast.Directed by Jon Watts, the film is set to hit theaters on November 8, 2024.
