Moscow: The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Monday that its agents had apprehended an ISIS suicide bomber who was preparing to carry out a terrorist assault against a member of India’s ruling elite.
Russia’s FSB stated in a statement that it has “identified and captured a member of the international terrorist group Islamic State from a Central Asian nation who wanted to execute a terrorist act by blowing himself up against one of the representatives of India’s ruling circles.”
According to the statement, ISIS in Turkey recruited the detained person to carry out suicide bombings.

The central government has designated ISIS and all of its incarnations as terrorist groups and added them on the First Schedule of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
The Union Home Ministry claims that ISIS spreads its ideology using a variety of internet-based social media platforms. The relevant agencies are closely monitoring cyberspace in this regard, and appropriate legal action is taken.
