On Monday, Drake ensured that his set planned for October World Weekend has been delayed to a subsequent date due to him acquiring COVID-19. The iconic rapper took to Instagram to announce his fan’s condition as he publicized a note managing the delay in his Reports.
In his Instagram story, Drake noted, I am indeed shattered to state that I tested positive for Covid, and the Young Money Reunion show planned for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date conceivable. He resumed that I will keep the city assigned and convey the new date whenever we have it sealed. Until then, I hope everyone remains safe and healthy and I love you all I am so sorry for allowing you down on our weekend concurrently, and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on set (except the Covid). The One Dance rapper signed off his statement for his lovers with a sad face emoji.
For those unversed, fans were extremely enthusiastic to see the rapper as he was slated to be hooked by Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne at the show which was living maintained at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage. The show was part of the October World Weekend which had earlier seen headlining shows All Canadian North Stars, Chris Brown, and Lil Baby conducted a few days ago.
On Friday, Drake conveyed a photograph of himself with Nelly Furtado on set as he hoofed foot back on the stage after five years, entering the Canadian singer for her set.
