Writer and Stand-up Comedian Jak Knight passes away at the young age of 28 – Casey Weekly


Jak Knight was a famous writer and stand-up comedian and actor as well, he was well known for writing projects Black-ish. Knight recently co-created the Peacock series Bust Down and passed away on Thursday night in Los Angeles. The news of Jak Knight was released by his family member. Jak was already associated with several huge projects.

Jak Knight is also known for his blockbuster shows on Netflix’s comedy Big Mouth. In the most recent time, his works included as executive producer in the new Peacock series Bust Down, which premiered this March, with Chris Redd and Langston Kerman, all of whom starred in the series. The season’s first six episodes majorly focused on a group of friends working low-wage jobs at a casino in Gary, Indiana.
Previously Jak Knight also worked on FOX Animation series, Lucas Bros Moving Company, and Black-ish as story editor. Jak Knight was well known for his comedy so Knight always toured around the world as a comedian, which was his prior focus.

Jak Knight’s first Netflix special series which was 30 minutes long aired in the year 2018 as part of The Comedy Lineup series.
In recent times, Jak wrapped filming his first film credit which was the feature directorial debut of Chelsea Peretti-First Time Female Director!!
