Italy’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Ducati India has announced the launch of the Scrambler Urban Motard motorcycle in India. The company has fixed the ex-showroom price of the new Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard bike at Rs 11.49 lakh. With this, the official booking of Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard has started across the country from Tuesday.
Look and Features.
Compared to other models in the Scrambler lineup, Ducati has made minor cosmetic changes to the urban motored trim. The Scrambler Urban Motored gets a dual paint scheme of Star Silk White and Ducati GP’19 Red with attractive fuel tank graphics. The bike gets a high mounted front mudguard, flat seat, low handlebar and side number plates.
Apart from the LED lighting, the Ducati Scrambler Urban Motored also gets an LCD unit that shows a lot of ride details. Apart from this, it also gets a small underseat storage compartment, USB socket and dual-channel ABS.
Engine power and gearbox.
The Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard bike is based on a trellis frame and weighs 180 kg (dry). The 803cc L-twin engine is available in this bike. This engine generates power of 72 bhp at 8,250 rpm and torque of 66.2 Nm at 5,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
Braking and Suspension.
The bike gets 17-inch spoke wheels with 41 mm Kayaba USD front fork suspension up front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Braking hardware includes a single 330 mm front disc and a 245 mm rear disc equipped with cornering ABS.
