Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the updated Street Triple RS bike for the new year model in the country. The bike was first introduced globally a month back and has been launched in India for Rs 11.61 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). There has been no change in the price of the bike. But with the year update, the bike is now available in a new paint skill Carbon Black.
The new carbon black paint scheme in the Triumph Street Triple RS gets bronze wheels and bronze ‘RS’ graphics on the fuel tank. The combination of bronze wheels and graphics gives a striking look to the dark body panels. The new paint scheme will continue to be sold alongside the existing paint options – Matte Black and Crystal White paint. Apart from the new colour, the rest of the details of the bike remain the same.

Engine and power.
The Triumph Street Triple RS bike gets the same 765cc, inline-three cylinder engine. This engine generates maximum power of 121 bhp and peak torque of 79 Nm. A 6-speed manual gearbox is available with this engine.
Suspension.
It comes with Brembo M50 monoblock calipers and a range of top-spec equipments like fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock at rear and Showa forks up front. In terms of overall weight, the Triumph Street Triple RS is one of the lightest bikes in its segment, weighing in at 166 kg (dry).
This bike also got updated.
Meanwhile, Triumph Motorcycles India recently updated the Trident 660 motorcycle as well. The bike was also given a new matte Bajaj Orange paint option, which is similar to the global-spec bike. Apart from the newly updated color options, no other changes have been made to the Trident.
