Skoda Auto India has launched a new variant of its flagship compact SUV car Kushaq in India. The automaker has announced that the Skoda Kushaq Style 1.0 TSI MT variant. Which is now being offer without a sunroof and several other features, will available at a price of Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The name of the new variant of the Kushak is Style NSR, whose short form is No Sunroof.
What features were removed?
Apart from the sunroof, some of the other features that have been dropped from this variant are full digital driver display, auto dimming IRVM, rain-sensing wipers and a 16-inch spare wheel which is stylized from the 15-inch wheel in the no sunroof variant. will be replaced. It will continue to get ventilated front seats while a new 8-inch touchscreen will be included later.
The no-sunroof variant of the Kushaq SUV will come with a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine. This engine generates power of 115 PS and peak torque of 178 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Skoda has also given the option of a 6-speed automatic gearbox with this engine in other variants. A bigger 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine has also given in its top line model. Which generates 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic) gearbox.
